Thought I'd give this place a third chance. Every time is subpar. The first time I waited almost 20 minutes for a hot sesame latte and after waiting, it was served cold. To be fair they offered to remake it, but I didn't have anymore time to wait. Second time tasted like milk- no flavor or coffee taste. Third time today- I just ordered a cold brew with lite ice and this is what I got. So for 4.75 not including tax or the tip you're barely getting a cup of coffee. The other latte still tastes like milk and barely any flavor. Save your money and time. Or maybe just order plain hot coffee and it might work out for you.

This place deserves a Michelin star. Whether you are a Gainesville resident or just passing through, 108 Vine is a must see. I have been coming here regularly for the past few years and felt genuine guilt when I realized I had not reviewed this place yet. From plants to gifts and trinkets to coffee, this place has something for everyone. The coffee menu is seasonal and always rotating which keeps things fresh as they make the syrups and flavorings in-house. It's one of the few shops I've seen that dedicates itself to quality over quantity. Make sure to get a cold foam with your preferred seasonal syrup. The wait for your coffee is always pleasant as well due to the wide variety of plants, art, and merchandise you can browse to pass the time. The staff is always excellent no matter what time of day you visit. Stasi, Mariah, Ruby, Neph, Ashley, and Jen are always incredible, patient and kind. They make this place my third space and my favorite local business. They also host workshops, events, and block parties with seasonal and limited menus all in support of the community and local artists. Tldr: Great spot to shop for plants and knick-knacks and get a coffee or tea; vibes are friendly and chill, staff is great! I love, love, love this place! The plants really lend a fresh, living, and gentle energy to the vintage vibes, making it a great place to chill for a bit with one of their brews and a pastry! My personal favorite parts are the witchy and stationary areas, though Rhys (the best plant guy!) makes the substantial plant area (Plantstay) a delight to peruse and a close 2nd place!

Really cute plant/gift/coffee shop. I came in for coffee but ended up shopping. I was just scouting it out for the first time myself but the vibe is “great place to shop with friends and then catch up over coffee”. The register at the coffee shop was down and no menus were out in that area (and the pastries were not labeled) so I didn’t get any food like I had planned to and ordering was kind of awkward. I ordered 2 drinks based on the lady at the counter’s recommendations and they were both excellent. I’m definitely going to go again and hopefully it was just an off day and their normal setup for ordering from the coffee area is a bit less confusing.

I came on a Sunday afternoon and ordered a banana bread oatmilk matcha but instead after waiting 25-30 minutes I was given an latte instead. I just took it without saying anything since they were swamped with orders. It was ok but nothing amazing. If you like overly sweet “coffee” then sure it’s nice but there was no coffee aftertaste. It just tasted like a smoothie/ sweet treat . I was expecting to have some coffee taste but it was non existent. For $8 I was a little upset but went about my day. I’ve had far better than iced coffee for less than that. Not sure if to give them a try when it’s not as packed.
